Shannon was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia which explains that accent you might hear when you phone the Open Sky offices. She is married and has a 17 year old son, Oliver. She first visited Durango in 1993 when she was able to fall in love with skiing and the area. Shannon vacationed in Durango for many years and started to dream about living here. In search of a better quality of life and a more wholesome environment for her family, Shannon took leave of the asphalt jungle and moved in March of 2004. more...
