Your Wellness Retreat Guides

Norman ElizondoNorman Elizondo, BS
Norman has studied and practiced yoga since the mid-nineties, is a certified meditation instructor and is a member of the Dharma Ocean Foundation based in Crestone, Colorado.  Norman is a Family Wellness Counselor and Graduation Facilitator at Open Sky.


Heather Menzie, MAHeather Menzie, MA
As a trained therapist and yoga instructor, Heather teaches people how to manage anxiety, stress and depression through mind/body-based practices. Heather earned her Master's degree from Naropa University in Transpersonal Psychology, with an emphasis in Wilderness Therapy.


Safety & Comfort

Your safety and comfort is our single most important priority.  First off, professionally trained staff will always lead your activities.  Safety will be taught to each participant so as to ensure a safe and successful experience.  We will provide an atmosphere of mutual empowerment, challenge by choice, and a respect for individual needs. Our program is designed to meet any unique needs, physical or otherwise.  We will make every effort possible to ensure your physical comfort during the retreat.
