Field Office
Open Sky’s field office is in the heart of the course area. Support staff maintain regular contact with groups. The office is staffed full time by highly trained back-up staff who also have years of experience as field guides.

Communications
The Open Sky team utilizes state-of-the-art satellite and radio communications systems to maintain 24-hour communication with field groups. These technologies allow for quick response time in supporting the needs of the groups in the field.


Medical
Open Sky field guides and back-up staff are certified as Wilderness First Responders (WFR) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). Teams are supported by 24-hour on-call medical staff. Open Sky also has access to excellent medical care centers in the Durango area
