Jeremy Way, MA
Family Services Counselor
Jeremy joined the Open Sky in 2010 as a field guide. He has previous experience working with several other wilderness therapy organizations, assisting people with developmental disabilities, and in experiential education. After completing an internship abroad utilizing eco and adventure therapy practices in addiction recovery work, he has returned this year as a member of the Family Services team.
Jeremy brings a focus of connection with and integration of the natural world in his practices and perspectives when working with family systems. Jeremy received an BA in Global Studies with an emphasis in Culture and Ideology from the University of California-Santa Barbara and went on to earn an MA from Naropa University in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with a Concentration in Wilderness Therapy.
