Jonathan joins Open Sky as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with more than 650 field days as a field guide and therapist for various reputable wilderness therapy programs. He has worked therapeutically with youth and families for over eight years on a wide range of behavioral issues including addiction, trauma, attachment and family functioning. As a therapist, Jonathan is appreciated for his pleasant nature and being intently attuned to people. He also possesses exceptional wilderness skills and is a Wilderness First Responder (WFR). Jonathan received a BS in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2000, an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology (emphasis in Wilderness Therapy) from Naropa University in 2007 and a certificate in Gestalt Therapy (CGT) from the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies in 2008.
