Open Sky is proud to outfit students with the highest quality gear, including Osprey backpacks. The Osprey company was founded more than 25 years ago and is headquartered in Cortez, Colorado—neighbors to Open Sky’s home base in Durango.
We are grateful to be featured in the “Osprey Stories” on their website, which shares inspiration, stories, and education from the Osprey community. Our contribution to the Osprey Stories includes tips for tending to your emotional and mental health during the coronavirus pandemic, when many of our routines have been turned upside down. Our Clinical Team put together a few of their “top tips for lowering stress and anxiety, caring for your overall health, and making the most of your time at home.”
In our Osprey Stories article, “Three Ways to Increase Your Health and Happiness During Quarantine,” our clinicians acknowledge that, “life today looks drastically different, both on a collective level and an individual level. Most of us find ourselves confined within the walls of our homes, with periodic trips to the store for the essentials and occasional moments in the backyard for some fresh air.” As we continue with social distancing practices, stay home, work from home, home-school our kids, and navigate these uncertain times the best we can, we hope these tips help you to mitigate the new daily challenges you may be facing.
