Cayle brings with him two years of experience as a chemical dependency counselor at a dual diagnosis residential treatment center. He also spent a year working and leading trail building teams in the Sierras. He joined the Open Sky team in January 2018.
Cayle was drawn to working at Open Sky because it combines the valuable parts of what he experienced while working on trail crews and in a residential treatment center.
He values being in relationship with the students and understanding where they see themselves on their path. Within a guide team, his strengths are his therapeutic experience, his Midwest grit, and his emotional resilience.
In his time off, Cayle loves to climb, cook, play guitar, and read.
