Emily Davidson attended Texas A&M University, where she studied accounting. While at A&M, she was involved in the professional development organization American Business Women’s Association and active in many community service projects. Emily participated in a study abroad program where she spent six weeks living in Strasbourg, France studying international finance. Emily received both her BA and MS in accounting from Texas A&M.
After college, Emily went to work for KPMG in Dallas, TX. While looking for a change of scenery, she visited a friend in Durango and fell in love. After moving to Durango, Emily became familiar with Open Sky Wilderness Therapy and was drawn to the company. She was excited when an opportunity became available in which she could utilize her skills in accounting to support an amazing organization. Upon joining the Open Sky team, Emily feels a strong connection to the values and the culture of Open Sky.
Emily enjoys hiking, camping, and being outdoors with her husband, Ryan, and their dog, Cinder. Emily and Ryan also enjoy traveling and have been to some wonderful places both domestically and internationally.
