A native Hoosier raised almost entirely on milk and corn, Greg graduated from Indiana University in 1999 and then departed for the American West, where he fell hopelessly in love with big skies, tall mountains, and short lines.
In addition to managing bike shops and tour companies in Alaska, he worked as an academic advisor for Northcentral University and in field operations for the Prescott College Adventure Education program in Arizona. He later relocated his family to Colorado and joined the Open Sky team in 2013. Greg takes great pride in the Operations staff and the passion, dedication, and talent they offer in support of our program.
Greg and his wife are raising their sons in the idyllic whistle-stop of Durango. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking. When the trails are muddy, he will settle for reading or playing guitar.
