
Kendall is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. Although originally from the East Coast, Kendall has been living in Colorado on and off since 2002. After earning her BA in Psychology and Religion from Colgate University, she took a job at the University of Colorado, Boulder studying children’s cognitive development.
Kendall has been involved in Wilderness Therapy since 2004 when she began her Master’s Degree program in Transpersonal Counseling with an emphasis in Wilderness Therapy. After a decade of working in a variety of clinical settings, college campuses, equine assisted-psychotherapy, and as a yoga therapist, she joined the Open Sky team in 2014 as the Supervisor of the Family Services Department. In this role she helped to develop the Family Pathway and the parent support programming. She also facilitated Family Quests, Graduations, Wellness Weekends.
Kendall currently is in private practice in Durango, CO. She has focused her continuing education on neuroscience, nervous system regulation, polyvagal theory, and of course the effects of yoga and nature on mental/emotional/spiritual/physical health and well-being. She is delighted to continue her professional connection with Open Sky through the facilitation of Wellness Weekends and as a provider for the Employee Assistance Program.
