Mo Judith

Senior Guide

Prior to joining Open Sky in 2018 as a guide, Mo was a teacher for five years on and off. She taught mostly in third world countries and spent several years traveling the world. These experiences taught her a lot about people, body language, communicating, and camping at all times in many different environments.

Nature has been a consistent source of growth in Mo’s life. It is a teacher and gives her perspective and the time and space to think and process. Mo was drawn to Open Sky, specifically, because of its emphasis on the four directions, which is very important to her and has shaped the ways she has grown.

As a guide, Mo values the sincere and pure human connection and connection with the earth. Her strengths are listening, reflecting, being supportive, staying on task, communicating, and adding humor.

In her free time, Mo loves to read. She is also an herbalist and a studying acupuncturist in Durango. She also really enjoys fixing cars. Mo is a scuba diving instructor and worked as a commercial fisherman for several years around the world.
