Nick Olson, BS

Asset Manager

Nick graduated from SUNY Cortland with a BS in Outdoor Recreation Leadership. His final semester was completed abroad in Brazil through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) which further excited his passion for sharing the power of nature with others. With a variety of experiences in trail work, wilderness therapy, river guiding, property management, and the ski industry, Nick shows up with a unique skill set to help manage the administrative team.

Having been a field guide with another wilderness therapy company, Nick is able to connect the work done behind the scenes down to those special healing moments that happen in the field every day. The passionate culture and genuine belief in the power of wilderness therapy is what drove Nick to join Open Sky.

As Asset Manager, Nick is responsible for managing Open Sky's vehicle fleet, properties, physical assets, and company-owned equipment, and supporting the Operations and Transportation teams.

In his free time, you can find him floating a river, hiking in the mountains, or running through the desert with his dog, Mesa!
