Neetu created a self-designed major in Environmental Studies at Sterling College in Vermont, where she combined Outdoor Education with Embodiment Studies. She comes to Open Sky with experience facilitating embodied inner work aligned with deep spiritual practice and activism. She worked for a year as a Field Guide at Open Sky, and so has experience as a wilderness guide as well.
Neetu was attracted to wilderness therapy because she loves being outdoors and making the outdoors home. She also loves supporting people in growth and healing so that they can reclaim their power and lives. She moved to an office position so she can better understand what it takes administratively to make wilderness therapy work. Neetu appreciates being able to learn about the different departments at Open Sky, and finding ways to encourage collaboration.
During her time off, Neetu is working on launching her own organization, Wildpeace, which brings people into spirit, earth, body, and their work for the world. In her personal time, she likes to be still and listen, meditate, write, dance, swim, run, and spend time with loved ones.
