Oliver Svoboda has always been curious about wilderness. He studied environmental science in college and credits wilderness for saving his life. After going through inpatient therapy programs, he spent four months thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail and then five months on the Pacific Crest Trail. Both experiences were very powerful for him.
As a field guide, Oliver uses his own life experience to relate to, understand, and have nonjudgmental conversations with students. He is enthusiastic about helping students be better humans in whatever area they choose. Oliver is a charismatic, compassionate, and powerful leader, as well as a good listener.
He enjoys fishing, thru-hiking, volunteering, seeing friends, going on adventures, and snowboarding.
