Paige was born and raised in Durango, Colorado and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2013 with a degree in English, specializing in creative nonfiction. She has always loved stories and believes in their power to help us better understand and connect with ourselves and each other. Also passionate about the outdoors, mental health, and experiential education, Paige sees her role at Open Sky as a unique blend of her skillset and interests. She loves being part of a team so committed to living in alignment with values.
Paige’s prior work experience ranges from managing a rustic lodge in the White Mountains of New Hampshire to supporting the nonprofit sector in Southwest Colorado to traveling internationally as a development coach for Paralympic athletes. An avid cross-country skier, Paige has seven years of experience coaching both youth and adaptive skiers. She has witnessed firsthand the natural world’s capacity to improve mental and physical health, build community, and change lives. As Communications Specialist for Open Sky, she is excited to continue to promote these experiences for young people and their families.
In her free time, Paige enjoys outdoor adventure and quiet cozy time in equal measure. If she isn’t skiing or trail running, she is likely reading or sewing. She is especially enthusiastic about garment construction and makes many of her own clothes out of repurposed and vintage materials.
