Theo Reitwiesner, BA

Senior Guide

Theo graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with degrees in adventure education and psychology. He has personally benefitted from therapy and from spending his free time exploring the outdoors and continues answering his call to heal and to give back. Wilderness therapy combines three of his greatest passions: adventure, healing, and the magic of the wilderness.

Theo values being a role model to students and watching their growth. He enjoys the opportunity to engage in his own parallel healing process alongside them. He is receptive to feedback, viewing it as an opportunity for growth. He excels with the hard skills in the field.

In his free time, Theo enjoys climbing, skiing, biking, river sports, and any type of outdoor problem solving that uses his body. He is extroverted and enjoys connecting and sharing experiences. He loves to read books. Rivers and the water are his greatest happy spaces, though he also enjoys spending time in the desert and the mountains. He also likes to play music.
